Habakkuk 2
Jun. 6th, 2011 02:39 pm1. I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and look forth to see what he will say to me and what I shall answer concerning my complaint.
2. And the Lord answered me and said,
3. The vision is yet for the appointed time, and it hasteth toward the end, and shall not lie. Though it tarry, wait for it, because it will surely come.
14. For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.
20. But the Lord is in his holy temple: let all the earth keep silence before him.

28. Ave Maria, gratia plena, benedicta tu in mulieribus.
42. Benedicta tu in mulieribus, et benedictus fructus ventris tui.
46. My soul doth magnify the Lord,
47. And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.
48. For he hath regarded the lowliness of his handmaiden: for behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.
49. For he that is mighty hath magnified me: and holy is his name.
50. And his mercy is on them that fear him, throughout all generations.
51. He hath shewed strength with his arm; he hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts.
52. He hath put down the mighty from their seat, and hath exalted the humble and meek.
53. He hath filled the hungry with good things, and the rich he hath sent empty away.
54. He remembering his mercy hath holpen his servant Israel,
55. As he promised to our forefathers, Abraham and his seed for ever.
68. Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people,
69. And hath raised up a mighty salvation for us in the house of his servant David;
70. As he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets, which have been since the world began:
71. That we should be saved from our enemeies, and from the hand of all that hate us;
42. Benedicta tu in mulieribus, et benedictus fructus ventris tui.

70. As he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets, which have been since the world began:
71. That we should be saved from our enemeies, and from the hand of all that hate us;
8. There were shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.
9. And lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.
10. And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
11. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
13. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,
14. Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will towards men.
29. Lord, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace, according to thy word:
30. For mine eyes have seen thy salvation.
31. Which thou hast prepared before the face of all people;
32. To be a light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel.

19. This is the record of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, Who art thou?
20. And he confessed, and denied not, and said plainly, I am not the Christ.
21. And they asked him, What art thou then? Art thou Elias? And he said, I am not. Art thou the prophet? And he answered, No.
22. Then said they unto him, Who art thou? that we may give an answer unto them that sent us. What sayest thou of thyself?
23. And he said, I am the voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord.
29b Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

1 Corinthians 15
Feb. 6th, 2011 03:11 pm21. Since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
22. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
51. Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52. In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye: the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54b. then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
55. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
56. The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law.
57. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
